EXE - Windows Installer
The .exe format is a Windows installer. Double-click on the saved file to run the installer. Once installed, "Pattern Blocks " will show up in your list of programs, accessible by pressing the Windows key.
If you have installed an older version, you may need to uninstall it first. If you are among the first to install a mathies app, you may get a message from your anti-virus software warning you of this fact. Any example files will be copied to the mathies subfolder of your documents folder.
DMG - Mac Installer
The .dmg format is a Mac disk image. Double-click on the saved file to mount the image and follow the instructions to install "Pattern Blocks " to your Applications folder.

SWF - Run in Browser
The .swf format can be viewed by dragging the saved file into a new Internet browser tab on Windows or Mac computers. The browser will need the Flash plugin installed and enabled.
You may get a security warning running a locally saved .swf in a browser (like Internet Explorer, Safari, Firefox or Chrome).
You may have to refresh the page and/or give the page permission to run before you see anything. If it still won't run, consider using the installer for your operating system.
